This is a bitter sweet moment because this maybe the last time for GAETI and it was a great week for GAETI. I know that I can use resources from GAETI in my class to enhance students continue their learning. It is very important to implement 'Career and College Readiness' and '21st Century' in the classroom which has been presented at GAETI. I truly believe that our future in the classroom will be better because of GAETI.

THANK YOU for lunch on today!

Another AWESOME day:

Ms. Stephanie Agnew presented information about making posters or brochures which I can use in my ICT II class. Students in my class can make large posters relating to a subject, sports, or a career. One of the features that Ms. Agnew showed the class was =rand(3) which will randomly select 3 paragraphs to display in Word which was pasted in our Publisher document. Dr. Elizabeth Downey presented information about fake news. This is useful in my class because students usually think that if it is on the Internet it is true. With art, Mrs. Angela Latham, did a wonderful job in helping the class prepare their projects.

The presenters for today's topics, 'The Value of Music in the Classroom' and 'Practical Classroom Management Techniques' were awesome. I have seen how music will change the atmosphere in my classroom weather it is gospel, jazz, or rhythm and blues. The presenters, Kimble Funchess and Julia Andrews-Funchess, gave valuable information on music in the classroom that I can use (for example, the different careers in music).

My art project will be 'Setting up a Basic LAN' (local area network).

Mr. Reginal Ware was a great presenter on 'Practical Classroom Management Techniques'. I plan to have a 'social contract' with my students this school year which will help with my classroom management skills. He also presented information of self-discipline and respect for rules, authority, and others.
